The Armless Guitarist !

Hope you enjoy this video as much as I did.

The Guitarist is teenager George Dennehy who was born without arms and plays guitar with his feet !.  He become an internet sensation after a video of his musical prowess hit YouTube earlier this year.

This video is well worth watching.

If you come across any other inspirational, bizarre or comical guitar YouTube clips please send me a link so I can put them up.

Cheers

Positions Vacant

Positions Vacant – no guitar experience required

Students often ask if I have time slots available for family and friends who want to take up Guitar Lessons. In the past I have been at full capacity, however, with changes to other teaching schedules, I now have a few timeslots available during the week.  Weekday mornings, afternoon and evening times are available and I can even accommodate shift workers’ rosters.

Get your friends and family involved in some Guitar Fun and use our Free Lesson offer. (Follow the link)

As many students will know I also have a special program for mature age students so that they can learn at their own pace and achieve their own step by step goals. Age is no barrier when it comes to learning the guitar and hey, it’s supposed to be good for the brain, or at least keeps the arthritis at bay.

What about a gift voucher for that next family birthday ? If the kids are learning guitar what about learning to strum a few bars yourself?.

Introduce a new student and I will give you a free lesson. Saving cold hard cash – now there’s an incentive.

Adelaide Guitar Festival Performance

It was a great, if rather short performance, at the Adelaide Guitar Festival recently at our  ’15 Minutes of Fame’ performance in the outer area of the Space Theatre.

Andrew and I really enjoyed working in a professional situation with 2 sound engineers and top quality PA equipment. Hopefully you were able to get along to some of the performances at the AGF which certainly covered a wide variety of styles with some big names performing.

Thank you to everybody who dropped in to see Andrew and I perform and we hope you had a good time; we certainly did.

Thanks also to the many people who have sent through their photos of the night. I have included just a couple of them below.

PS Our next public performance is 6.00pm-6.45pm on 26th September at The Duke Of York Hotel 83 Currie Street City. Love to see you there.
Leigh and Andrew
